Brioche con tuppo

La brioche con il tuppo è un tipico dolce al forno siciliano, molto diffusa anche nel resto del Mezzogiorno d'Italia, dalla forma tondeggiante e sono molto soffici, ottime per colazione o merenda.
Si è soliti per tradizione mangiarle farcite con il gelato o in accompagnamento alla granita, ma sono ottime anche farcite con crema pasticcera al limone.

The brioche with "tuppo" is a typical Sicilian baked dessert, very common also in the rest of Southern Italy, with a rounded shape and they are very soft, excellent for breakfast or snack.
Traditionally, it is customary to eat them stuffed with ice cream or to accompany "granita", but they are also excellent stuffed with lemon custard.

Cavolini con panna Chantilly

I cavolini sono dei bignè con panna chantilly, a Genova sono una tradizione e ogni pasticceria li ha in esposizione. Quando ero piccola ricordo che non era festa se la domenica non erano presenti a fine pasto.
The cavolini are Bigné with whipped cream chantilly, in Genoa they are a tradition and every pastry shop has them on display. When I was little I remember it wasn't Sunday if they weren't present at the end of the meal.
